What do we try to achieve?

  • Our focus is on professionals in their 30’s. Why that group? You will already have made a start with your career, you are probably at a point where you have made a promotion or are looking at getting a promotion. You will need to grow your leadership skills and you will need to be able to manage your own growth and development.
  • Our aim is to provide a strong balance between group sessions, staying connected to your accountability partner and assignments in between sessions. The group sessions are meant to introduce new topics, prepare for the next assignment, share learnings with the group. The accountability ‘check in’ sessions help to ensure you are both staying on track (useful during the program, but it can also be helpful afterwards). The assignments are critical pieces of work in between sessions, they are the building blocks of the program.
  • The success of the program depends on the individual participant ‘putting in the effort’, willingness to share and learn from each other. There will be a solid process of explaining the program as well as checking in on success factors for the participants: how clear are your goals getting into the program? What commitment do you have to be present in the sessions and do the assignments? Do you have the time to spend on this?
  • We are at the start of the creation of a Flip The Switch chapter in Kenya. What does that mean? It means that we will have various events for all participants that have gone trough the program, to keep people engaged and connected. As part of the program you will have an Accountability partner, this person and you will hold each other accountable to reach the results you set out. In our experience these accountability partnerships or wider accountability groups are really useful on an ongoing basis.
